Headlines

  • COSSAC is an Interdisciplinary Research Collaboration, created in early 2007 in the UK, which aims to demonstrate the benefits of advanced cancer informatics in the care of cancer patients in particular.
  • The IRC combines 3 groups in Oxford University (focused on engineering "next generation" technologies); University College London (focusing on clinical applications) and Edinburgh University (cognitive science).
  • The IRC builds on research and technology and applications development work focused on the domain of healthcare previously carried out by the Advanced Computation Laboratory at Cancer Research UK.
